Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This policy sets out what is not permitted when using NorthLens Studio software resources or this website. It applies to every customer and every visitor.

2. Prohibited activity

You must not:

• commit or attempt fraud of any kind;
• use the software or website for unlawful purposes;
• upload, store or process stolen customer information;
• introduce malware, viruses or malicious code;
• share access credentials outside your package's permitted user allowance;
• resell, sublicense or commercially redistribute the supplied resources without authorisation;
• redistribute or publish the supplied templates, documentation or files;
• infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights;
• harass, abuse or threaten any person, including NorthLens Studio staff;
• attempt to bypass, circumvent or misrepresent package user or project limits;
• reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the supplied software where that restriction is legally enforceable;
• abuse the website, its forms or its payment endpoints, including automated or high-volume misuse;
• engage in payment fraud, including fraudulent chargebacks or the use of stolen payment credentials.

3. Your responsibility for client data

If you use the workflow resources to record information about your own clients, you remain responsible for handling that information lawfully, including under UK data protection law.

4. Reporting misuse

Report suspected misuse to info@northlensstudio.co.uk. Reports are treated confidentially where possible.

5. Consequences of breach

Breaches may result in a warning, suspension or withdrawal of access without refund where the breach is serious, and referral to the relevant authorities where unlawful activity is suspected.
